Dr. Jessica Page, MD, FRCSC
Dr. Jessica Page is an orthopedic surgeon with advanced training in arthroplasty (hip and knee replacement), trauma surgery, and sports surgery. She has a special interest in the knee. Dr. Page was born and raised in Victoria, BC before living and working coast to coast throughout her medical training. Dr. Page is excited to join the MSK clinic and to become colleagues with Dr. Storey and Dr. Bakir; both surgeons who contributed to her training when she was an orthopedic resident.
Education and Medical Training
Dr. Page completed a Bachelor of Science degree with a special focus on marine invertebrate biology at the University of Victoria. She then completed her medical degree (MD) at the University of Toronto before entering orthopedic residency at the University of Calgary. She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Canada) with specialist certification in orthopedic surgery in 2017. She then completed a combined fellowship in trauma surgery and arthroplasty at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS under Drs. Ross Leighton and Chad Coles. Next, she underwent further advanced training in arthroscopic reconstruction and sports medicine with Banff Sports Medicine group, affiliated with the University of Calgary. During this year, she successfully completed her Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine Diploma. Dr. Page will be completing a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at the BC Children’s Hospital in 2020.
